Cottages in Wiltshire

'**A Beautiful Family Weekend at The Hayloft and The Granary**We had a truly wonderful weekend staying at The Hayloft and The Granary in Melksham, celebrating Granny’s birthday as a family. It was the perfect setting for a special family gathering. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and everything was beautifully presented and thoughtfully designed. The swimming pool was absolutely pristine, and the sauna and steam room were equally immaculate, with such tasteful interiors. The facilities were...

'Great cottage for a short break, ideal for couples. Bill and Vicky are very friendly and helpful. Message for Bill - thanks for the delicious plums! On a location note, I think like a lot of people, our experience of Wiltshire is limited to stop-start motoring on the A303 past Stonehenge and the wheat fields, going West. Its countryside and villages are worth exploring as much as the more familiar counties and it's a much shorter drive from London.'

'We, Me and my wife, visit Pewsey with our son and daugther. We loved "the Byre". A beautiful and comfortable home. We special like to thanks Maggy for sending a forgotten backpack afterwards. Super service!'

'Amanda and her family were so welcoming and friendly. The cottage was ideally placed to tour the area. It is snug, warm and plenty big enough for 2 people. We visited the REME museum, the motor museum at Calne, Bath city centre, Devizes on market day (Thurs) and the GWR rail museum and designer outlet at Swindon. Bath city centre has lots of car parks walking distance from the centre and lots different eateries. Devizes has a traditional market (indoor and outdoor) and is well worth a visit. The...

'Absolutely perfect, cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming with a homely feel, host was always on hand to help when needed, hot tub private and relaxing. Cottage is in a fab location - we did day trips to Bath and Cotswolds. Would 100% stay again - we are already looking to come back!'

'This cottage is centrally located for some great walks. It is located at the top of a high street with locally owned businesses and a CoOp. It is extremely quiet despite being next door to a pub and near the shops. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything anyone could need for a self-catering accommmodation. The washer and dryer were a big bonus!'

'Many thanks to our host Gemma.'

'Second stay in a month. Fantastic friendly hosts'

'Toll gelegen, gut ausgestattet, feines Bett, schöner Garten. Wir waren sehr gerne hier! Ralph & Betty'

'De cottage is sfeervol ingericht, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De omgeving is mooi. We hebben een week genoten van de natuur, mooie sfeervolle dorpjes en leuke activiteiten en uitstapjes met het gezin. Een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar rust, comfort en natuur. '

'We really enjoyed our stay at Ruth’s. The Lodge is perfect, so very clean and well equipped. Many thanks!'
