'We were looking for somewhere to stay that was close to Mount Wachusett. The cottage was very clean, cozy, and had many amenities including a fully stocked kitchen and an electric fireplace . Though we were for skiing there during the wintertime, the cottage is on a lake and kayaking is also an option during the summer. The hosts were quickly available to us with any questions. There is even a complimentary bottle of wine to enjoy!'

We enjoyed the lake and a little fishing. The area is very nice and we did some exploring. It was very quiet and we rarely even saw anyone while we were on the lake. 'My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at this lovely log cabin on the pond. Although the weather did not cooperate outdoors, we had all the comforts of home indoors. The cabin was warm and toasty and the view out to the pond did not disappoint-fog rising on the water in the morning, steady rain throughout the day and then clearing at night with a moon reflected on the water. 'Spacious studio apartment provides everything needed for a 4 day stay. Wonderful hosts. Easy walk to restaurants, food market, and shops in this classic New England town. Just a mile from MacDowell and a car ride from gorgeous hikes in NH and VT mountains. Worth every penny!'
