Budgethotels in Winkelcentrum Alamo Plaza

'Nice hotel at the right location of San Antonio. Just a few minutes from the river walk and a few steps from the Alamo. Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast is good if you want breakfast burritos. The bar (all say happy hour) was a bit boring. Staff was friendly. The valet was pretty expensive, but that's the same at all hotels.'

'Groundfloor looks nice, but rooms are old and lifts are very small. No diner available, this can be bought in adjacent restaurant with the same name. We where told it has no affiliation with the hotel. Rooms are big but outdated and bathroom was also out of date and uncomfortable.'

'There was no hot water, 2 broilers broke while we were there. Had no idea you had to pay another $100 for parking (I only stayed 2 nights) breakfast was fresh and staff was nice. '

'Emily Morgan was a very nice hotel. I did not get a chance to check out the breakfast. But I heard from a few other guests that it was great. I do have to mention The awesome and friendly staff they have there. Rudy at the front desk was so pleasant and informative as was Tonie who made me a cup of tea in the morning.. 'Unfortunately I haven't had the best experience at this hotel, the first day I arrived found my room in really bad condition, cut nails and lot of hair on the floor, tried to get a shower and the building did not have hot water for 2 days. Really noisy as well. Probably I would not come back.'
