'I competed in the City2Surf run on the Sunday & chose the Sheraton for close proximity to the start as I am not from Sydney & not familiar with the surroundings.
The hotel & my room were beautiful. I could not find any negatives.
All the staff were so friendly & super helpful.
My only complaint would be, that when I was checking in on Saturday afternoon, there was a long line of guests waiting to check in or check out & only two staff working at the reception. People were getting frustrated at...

'Comfortable, quiet and so close to different public transport options. Very close to the mall, Chinatown, Capitol theatre and Circular Quay. All are walking or public transport away. Staff are friendly and helpful. I did do a bit of floor elevator hoping but its good after someone explains how it works.'

'Had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza. Big suite, comfy bed, bath was luxurious and Dyson hair dryer and straightener were a bonus! Breakfast was a menu choice and food yummy. Excellent location for walking to Martin Place, Pitt St, Darling Harbour, Lyric Theatre. Tram nearby. Would definitely stay again.'

'Absolutely stellar location and super friendly staff. Place was clean, great amenities and affordable. My only wish is that the carpet be replaced in the rooms and hallways. Looking a little worn and dated. Besides that excellent.'

'Central, station within walking distance, park, services, very nice people, it wasn't fun but fantastic and the location of Song Hotel is great! It is very well explained from where to and how via the hotel desk, well done guys! Stayed in room 211 for 19 days! Room very good, spacious and clean, very satisfied! Really worth it! In one word - great stay!'

"There is an airconditioned system which is why you can't open the windows, it gave me bad headaches.
The fridge turned out to be a freezer. Very claustrophobic room.

"I was expecting something different when I booked a hotel with 4,5 stars. It's that definitely not worth that many. The lobby and restaurant are stunning, but the rooms are definitely out-dated and not worth 4,5 stars. The furniture is extremely old and some have locks, which is weird since I'd like to use the furniture in my room? The bathroom was also very old and out-dated. Our conditioner was empty after 1 shower (we were 3 people, 1 person used the conditioner). We were so kind and practical to write 'Empty' on a piece of paper and stuck it in the holder of the conditioner so housekeeping would notice. They ignored or didn't see it TWICE. I mean can we make it any easier for you? Do have to mention that I loved the staff at the reception, they really saved our stay with their kindness and helpfulness. We went down to ask for more conditioner (and by that point also body wash) and they had housekeeping bring us replacements for all the products (5 different in total). But housekeeping did not replace them during our stay, they just left the new ones in the bathroom where we had put them and left the old ones, empty ones, in their holders. Otherwise we did always get towels and the beds were made properly.
Overall an okay experience, if you're used to a 4,5 star hotel being luxurious though, I'd recommend you go somewhere else since this is more of a 3 star hotel in my opinion as a frequent traveller. "
"The stay we had at the Song Hotel was nice! The room was clean and had all the facilities needed. Only breakfast is not as good as we hoped. We stayed for 4 nights and every day breakfast was the same. You had little options and the process in the breakfast hall was not efficient enough for the amount of people they were expecting (lines for coffeemachine, empty baskets of food, etc.). Despite that, we enjoyed our stay."
