Only negative comment is it would have been good to know in advance that it was a haunted property (most haunted pub in Derbyshire allegedly) rather than finding out on arrival. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep.

Staff: super friendly. I have been in many hotels but never was welcomed at breakfast this way: table assigned to keep the privacy, explanation on breakfast. Loved it.
