'The view was beautiful'

'keurig hotel zonder poespas. jammer dat douche weinig kracht had wanneer ook andere gasten water gebruikten. personeel erg vriendelijk, uitgebreid engels ontbijt. hotel is tevens veel gebruikte locatie voor bruiloften; niet of nauwelijks geluidsoverlast voor hotelgasten. bijbehorend restaurant eenvoudig maar goed. '

'Amazing and super friendly staff'

'Aside from a member of staff called Kane who was exceptionally helpful, our experience for a birthday break was beyond disappointing. We initially stayed at the sister property The Swan in Tarporley where staff were outstanding but at The Lion we were greeted in what can only be described as very patronising, unwelcoming and brusque, by who we understand to be Beth. 'great ground floor rooms for people disabled or with dogs'

'Personeel in restaurant niet professioneel. Receptie uitmuntend.'

'What a lucky find. Situated in a beautiful area of the Welsh countryside. Stayed overnight weather was awful but the property was cosy and kept to a very high standard. Breakfast was freshly made & very tasty. A big thank you to the hosts Heather & Neil who made us feel welcome. Will definitely be returning. Julie & John.'
