'The location is good, by the river, although it’s next to a 60mph road so cars rushing by are heard throughout the night. On the booking page there were pictures of a fairly new, cute round wooden ‘pod’, which would suit the name Glamping pods as advertised. The pods were actually present on the premises and looked really charming. We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds...

'Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. 'A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.'

'The listing just gave site information with little detail of the caravan. There was no information in the caravan at all to help with gaining hot water, heating wifi etc. The fridge had over 2 cms of ice on the freezer box which made the fridge inefficient to say the least. The caravan was very tired with many sharp edges where the covering was coming off of cupboards. I couldn’t use the wifi, the kitchen plug didn’t fit and there was no bowl. The one small saucepan was rounded on the bottom...

'I stayed in the merlin yurt which was nice and clean, comfy bed and duvet. I enjoyed the log burner as it was a novelty to me. The kitchen was basic but had everything you could need. Shop and pub 5 minute walk away. There are 3 shower/toilet combos with a great shower. A washing up area with a fridge freezer. Cleaning product was provided. No complaints at all '

'Two hutches in a bit of forest. Mixed up on arrival ended up in the wrong one as ours was taken by someone else the day before. No hot water on the first night, luckily fixed around midday next day. Overall everything you need for a short stay. Relatively close to the coast. We had a nice stay with a few bumps.'

'We had an amazing stay here. We booked the large glamping tent and loved it. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious on both mornings. They even gave our wee collie nessie a sausage and some water, which went down a treat. Couldn't fault this gem of a place and will definitely stay in the near future when visiting our relatives'
