We experienced multiple issues that were not been addressed by Buena Villas. Specifically, the pool heater and the pool filter both not functioning, which has resulted in a dirty pool. Despite my expectations and a promise by Buena Villas, no one came out daily to attend to the pool maintenance. In fact, the pool has only been cleaned twice in the two weeks, and as a result, algae and grime started to build up around the pool area and there was a film on the waters surface.
Additionally, I must point out that Buena Villas has disconnected the pool heater display, leaving us in a state of uncertainty regarding the heater's functionality. My husband had to clean around the side of the pool himself, which is far from satisfactory given that this should be the responsibility of the maintenance service.
We sent another message to Buena Villas on the Thursday before our departure (19/06/25) to again for the 4th time of asking to confirm a late check out at 1pm and to address the pool to be advised, no, we were not permitted to check out late and that they had in fact organised a pool engineer to attend after our departure “to get it sorted for the next guests!”
We received a comment that was totally unacceptable when they attended for the 3rd time on our 1st full day which was “it’s a pool not a jacuzzi, You English!”
Were we not guests that had paid for a pool in the villa, This made us feel insignificant! This situation is unacceptable, and we deserved to have had a properly maintained swimming pool that was safe and enjoyable to use.
In addition to this there were sockets hanging off the wall near the BBQ, paint flaking off walls and the outside shower blocked off and surrounded by broken furniture,
