'Amazing breakfast buffet with Japanese and Western options. The hotel has private and public onsens. Very good facilities, including a sauna. Unlike other places, it was free of charge and without prior reservation. 5 min walk to the city center. The hotel offers free regular shuttles but it was so close and pretty that we just walked '

'The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! 'Clean rooms and great service. Some staff know some English and if they dont they will try their best to help you. Food was excellent! Be sure to get their breakfast and dinner! The onsen was relaxing. '

'Redelijk hotel, maar skigebied is klein. Het ontbijt is beperkt in keuzes en het aanvullen matig. Het diner is van goede kwaliteit en de menu's uitstekend. De kamer werd niet standaard schoongemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken moesten we vragen. 7 nachten verbleven. Helaas had het hotel geen bar of andere verblijfsruimte.'
