'This was a gem for our ski trip. Before checkin the staff was very helpful with transportation suggestions and questions. Because the road to the hotel is not drivable in the winter you call the hotel from the parking/bus area and they come and pick you up via snowmobile, this in itself was a fun experience for my son. The room was quite, clean, and had the right amenities. The food was Japanese but very good and staff ensures dietary restrictions are met. '

'What a fantastic place to stay. Convenient location from the train station And easy acces to snowmonkey parc. The food was amazing And the service level as well. They have an amazing bar on the roof. You sit with -15 in heated plastic iglo tents zipping from your drinks. The onsen Spa is big on the upperfloor overlooking Yudanaka And the mountains. The Room is huge. So wonderful stay And highly recommended.'

'From the arrival to departure. The stay was incredible. Room was really big and traditional. Food was an experience itself both dinner and breakfast were incredible. Highlights were the private outdoor onsen. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The town is really cute at night. Would totally recommend and go back.'

'Property had exposed knob and tube, which is a fire hazard for this kind of structure. Due to the age of the inn, there is no insulation. Rooms must be heated with space heaters which further increases the risk of fire. The accumulation of dust and various other contaminants triggered allergic reactions to several members of my family. On a positive note, food was very authentic and delicious. The comments and reviews need to reflect the condition of this inn.'
