'Excellent services, spacious and tidy room. The hot spring is very good inside the room. It has a wide range of choices for breadfast, quite tranditional Japanses style and taste is good. High recommended. Just a small thing to be improved, it has a digital TV system in the room but mainly for local people I think and lack of Youtube. It is a bit old-fashion nowadays if you don't have Youtube installed for the TV. But overall it was a really good stay.'

'Impeccable service! So we did not indicate that we have two children joining us as we always do when we book our accommodation. The owner couple accommodated us in all ways, providing the children with meals and even remaking the bed such that it fit the four of us. What stood out the most is that we have forgotten our travel adapter. When we did not respond to their email as we were out at the safari, the owner even drove out to the theme park to pass it to us. 'The property has a lot of old Japanese charm but some areas need repair. Sections of the privacy fence around our onsen were rotted and leaning. The patio behind the bar was closed due to broken planks.'

'Small ryokan in the hills above Yufuin. Great Onsen. We stayed in the traditional Japanese room and it was very comfortable. It had a private Onsen that was incredible. The staff were friendly and helpful, and despite us not being from Japan or able to speak much Japanese, we never felt out of place or unwelcome. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast, amazing to see as well as eat. We only stayed 3 nights, but it was the most relaxing time of our 3 day visit.'
