'We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!'

'The accommodation was pleasant, with a balcony and AC. It was a bit small, but that wasn't really an issue. Overall, it was clean, even the bathroom! However, there were a few hairs in some spots and a little dust in one corner, but nothing significant. However, the address listed on this app (Hotels.com) wasn’t entirely accurate, as it suggested the place was right in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle. In reality, the accommodation is about an 8-minute uphill walk from the city center....

'Vi havde et fremragende ophold her. Værterne er super søde og snakkesalige. Vores værelse var stort og rummeligt med en stor og en lille seng. Fint lille bad med masser af varmt vand. Lækre håndklæder. Der er et lille opholdsrum hvor der er kaffemaskine og man kan også sidde udenfor og nyde udsigten over byen. Biler kan IKKE køre op med bagage. Man skal selv bære det op og det tager 10-15 min i et roligt tempo. Det er dig det hele værd med udsigten, roen og guesthouset. Vi endte med at...

'Super nice host, very friendly and always willing to help. They supported us with a lot of coffee and homemade Raki. Very clean, super terrace with great view. Everything you need is there. Nice traditional restaurant only a couple of minutes away. Highly recommended :)'

'Veldig flott leilighet vi hadde, med flott balkong. Litt vanskelig å finne frem, så veldig fint at han som ga oss nøkkel møtte oss. Han skjønte at vi ikke visste hvor vi skulle gå, for det var ingen skilting. De burde ha bedre bilder av balkong, for jeg var usikker om det var balkong før vi ankom. De kunne også fikset taket i suiten. Men bortsett fra disse tingene var det helt perfekt, og til den prisen skal man ikke klage.'

'Hele lieve en behulpzame host met elke dag een ander heerlijk ontbijtje. Er rijd een bus naar het hotel toe, maar houd er rekening mee dat het boven op een berg ligt. Verder helemaal prima! '

'Silver Hill Guest House was so lovely. It was a highlight of my trip to Albania! The staff were nice, and the guest house itself is situated in the historical part of Gjirokastër. I wish I had stayed longer. '
