'It is a good walkable location to the castle and town with lots of shops and restaurants.
Staff are nice. Room was ready when we arrived. The smaller bathroom was recently renovated and modern. Great shower pressure. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as only soap is available.
The breakfast was delicious. Eggs, tomato, cucumber, fruit plate, OJ and donuts. The patio is pretty and has a view of the mountains.
Parking is available out front, but best for smaller vehicles.

'I had a wonderful stay here. The accommodation was very clean and only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the town center.
What really made my stay special was the family. They were incredibly kind, warm and welcoming. The guest house is family run, which gives it a very personal and authentic atmosphere. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious fresh breakfast.
If you like things simple and authentic, without all the unnecessary fuss of overpriced luxury hotels, this is the place for you. And if you want...

'If I could leave an 11 star review I would. Berat is an Albanian gem and this property and its warm and friendly owner are perfect. Our room was absolutely stunning and well presented. We had a nice chat with the owner over a glass of home made Raki and wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful stay'

'We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!'

'Schöne Anlage, in der wir eine Woche verbracht haben. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den Süden und ins Inland.
Frühstück gut, aber etwas eintönig.
Personal freundlich, Restaurant verglichen mit anderen Lokalen im Ort nur "ganz gut".
Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer, das zu viert eher etwas zu klein war, insbesondere das Bad.
Beim nächsten Mal würde ich es wieder buchen, dann reichen allerdings drei Tage.'
