'Nice place'

'The location was awesome with views of the sand dunes nestled up against the mountains. The accommodations were basic and very clean with everything we needed.'

'The main issue I had is they did not notify me that there would be a $100 deposit when you check in plus the $29 that you are supposed to pay when you get there (knew about the $29 though). There was also no hand soap in our room for some reason? And the front desk was so busy the night we got there that I didn't get any time to ask for some. Everything else was great though, comfortable beds, nice room, very clean.'

'Beautiful hotel! So glad we picked this over other options in the area without question. The rooms were great, easy parking, awesome atmosphere, great bar, restaurant, speak easy. Coffee shop next door. Nice to walk on main street and walked to the Royal Gorge train as well. If you are looking for a place to stay in Canon City, I would highly recommend! (I don't usually write reviews but it was a great stay!)'

'Run down motel style. I would not stay here again. I was scared the mattress might have bed bugs. Towels had stains on them. Requested new ones. Only 2 were like new the rest again had stains on them. The lobby smelled horrendous. The breakfast only had 2 hot plates and dining area also smelled bad to the point I lost my appetite. This joint ir probably worth $50 a night but they charge way more than that. Not worth it, stay somewhere nicer.'

'Overall this is a great improvement for this motel from its previous state. Would stay here again. Great option for divide riders/racers. Room had some weird popping noise which was maddening while trying to sleep Turned out to be fridge-which I turned off for the night.'

'The room was very clean.The hotel was nice and clean as well. The front desk staff was nice when we got there. The front desk staff when we left talked to people like everyone was bugging her. The fridge was not working and even after reporting this is was not fixed. The TV was not working either it took 2 times telling staff it was not working for them to (fix) it. Channels kept going in and out. We finally just gave up on the TV.'

'We were very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room. Unlike most hotels, we couldn't hear voices coming from outside our room. It was nice and quiet, beds were very comfortable. The only things we could complain about were the free breakfast (not enough food and coffee for the number of patrons and lack of food choices), and the coffee maker we requested from the front desk had not been cleaned.
