'Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig und abgeschieden, umgeben von Pferdeweiden. Für uns einfach perfekt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und das Check-in verlief angenehm und unkompliziert. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Der riesige schwarze Sandstrand, der in kurzer Entfernung hinter der Unterkunft zu erreichen ist, hat uns sehr überrascht und war unglaublich toll.'

The home's location is convenient while peaceful. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom with a tub and shower, and 1 1/2 bathroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay!'

'Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.'

Had some nice options for dinner. We really used the home as base camp as we explored as many areas within Iceland that our brief time allowed. "Voor één overnachting geboekt vanwege de uitstekende shuttle service. Supermarkt/Restaurant naast het hotel is een aanrader. Onze kamer had prima gordijnen maar sloten niet volledig waardoor je meer lichtinval hebt. Stopcontact weinig, fijne schommelstoel."

"Our apartment is quite big. The location is convenient to all the major interesting places in the city. The reception is helpful. But the kitchen can hardly be used due to very limited cooking utensils and cleaning capacity. If you plan to cook yourself, maybe you should find another place. The breakfast is also very limited. Regarding parking, the on site parking is 20 Euro/day and there is only 1 lot. It's not too difficult to find a on street parking nearby, but it's expensive at 600 ISK/hour, payable from 9am to 9pm. A good choice is to park in a nearby garage (Tradarkot) at the rate of 260 ISK for the 1st hour and 130 ISK/hour for the following hours (Oct. 2024 price). With Parka app, it's very convenient to check in and out for the garage. "
