'We enjoyed our stay and Marco was a terrific host. He provided lots of information and recommendations for an easy stay. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, walkable and only 10 short minutes to downtown by car or 7-minutes to Sky Lagoon or the beach. I would recommend and stay here again. The rental is up one flight of stairs to the main level. The ground level is a separate apartment and the rental listing is for the upper two floors and requires 14-stairs to access. '

'I stayed here for 2 nights and we all had a fantastic stay. The apartment was spotless and the beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. We had a little trouble finding the house and a friendly local couple assisted us. Tips: the front door is where the ring camera is, all the way to the left (the lockbox is there). ' This modern house has many nice features—including a sauna, hot tub, and full laundry room. The views from the walls of collapsible accordion doors are stunning. However, a lot of space is devoted to the porch and living room while two of the bedrooms are VERY small. We had three couples staying, and the two in the small rooms had to put their luggage in the living area since no room to walk in room otherwise. The two small rooms might be more appropriate for children than adults. ALSO...

'Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.'

The outside area is very large and offered several sitting areas for both relaxing and eating. The host provided great information for fetures in the house. Wold love to stay here again. "Hotel in hoofdstraat, bij winkels en restaurants en bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Ontbijt is geweldig en bij vroeg vertrek krijg je een ontbijtpakket mee. Kamer(familiekamer) ruim met balkon en ruime badkamer met douche. Uitzicht op binnenplaats en deel stad. Kamertemperatuur goed te regelen. Prima bedden. Inpandig restaurant (niet van hotel zelf) en Starbucks. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op loopafstand van busstop 9 en 12 voor tours. "

"We stayed one night in a double room without a private bathroom. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the heart of downtown Reykjavik. The room itself was spacious and met our basic needs, except for one major issue: there were someone else’s hairs on the bed, which was quite off-putting. However, the shared bathrooms and toilets were truly awful. We didn’t expect a luxury place, but we did expect a reasonable level of cleanliness and maintenance. One of the bathroom doors couldn’t even close properly due to a warped frame. One toilet was broken, another was clogged, and the hairdryer and kettle were both out of order. In short: while the room was acceptable, the shared bathroom facilities were a nightmare and seriously affected our overall experience."

"Voor één overnachting geboekt vanwege de uitstekende shuttle service. Supermarkt/Restaurant naast het hotel is een aanrader. Onze kamer had prima gordijnen maar sloten niet volledig waardoor je meer lichtinval hebt. Stopcontact weinig, fijne schommelstoel."
