'Stayed for the workweek with my teenage son. Felt comfortable walking outside and having my kid drive himself places (he is used to small town driving). Easy drive over to UW for practices but nice to be ‘living’ out of the bigger city. Loved seeing all the fireflies in the backyard each evening. 'The Island is a great place to stay. It’s right on the water, and we enjoyed long days relaxing, swimming and being out on the water on the stand-up paddle boards and in the kayaks.
