'Very comfortable Villa with everything you need to be self sufficient. Spacious with a lovely deck looking out to ocean. Ocean breeze or fans to keep you cool. Window screens were great to keep out bugs. Ure was so helpful and when we had a maintenance issue she was on to it straight away. A very generous late check out was also much appreciated. Watched whales go past as we sat on the deck. Highly recommend.'

'Loved staying at Golf Sea View. The 2 bedroom was a perfect size. Full size fridge/stove made it easy to have breakfast before heading out. Pool was nice but only used it once. Only downside is it is off the main road so it’s a walk (or scooter) to the beach. Def recommend '

'Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. 'Clean, tidy with everything you need. Comfortable beds. Things that made that difference were heaps of beach and shower towels so you don’t need to bring any extra and a kitchen with all the basics including coffee plunger and things like plastic click clack boxes, super handy. 2 minutes walk from Muri beach and night market. Nice quiet spot with grass for kids to play on and away from the common wind at beach front places. Only noise was cockerells. Great home and would highly recommend.'

'We found this property spacious, comfortable and clean and tidy. The elevated sea view was lovely. The communication to book the property was excellent. It’s close to town and cafes and although not around Muri side of the island only a short travel and we enjoyed the privacy and ocean front right there without the crowds!! Perfect relaxing at this property.'

'Perfect for family. Has got everything you need from towels, toiletries. Free water jug and dispenser which is very thoughtful. Loved the mini pool. Only issue i had was lack of communication. I didn't know how to get into property when we arrrived at airport as didn't get any email response to my query. 'Our stay at Makayla Palms was absolutely fantastic. We had not stayed in this part of the island before, but it was truly perfect and we can’t wait to stay with you again next year! Before we arrived, the communication was excellent. We had a late check in, when the office was closed, but everything had been communicated to us regarding keys etc beforehand so we arrived and settled in with no problems. We were a group of five and we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and we also had a rollaway bed...

The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium

"Goed: Beste locatie van Rarotonga met prachtige lagoon om te snorkelen met mooie tropische vissen en murenes. Kamers op zich prima, wat verouderd, maar wel super schoon. Slecht: Deels verouderd. Restaurant is verschrikkelijk en zeer ongezellig. Eten zeer matig en niet 4* waardig. Keuken ziet er niet schoon uit ook. Ga lekker bij het restaurant aan de overkant eten, veel beter en enthousiaste eigenaar. Cocktails zijn kant en klaar en niet te zuipen. Ontbijt is ok, maar kan ook een kwaliteitseis upgrade gebruiken. Veel ziet er om 0900 niet meer vers uit. Omgeving zwembad niet schoon (zwembad zelf wel) en gevaarlijke putjes voor kinderen. Waterpark kapot en onveilig. Veel kokosnoten in bomen pal boven ligbedjes, heel gevaarlijk. Ligebedden hebben geen kussens zoals op de foto’s. Veel ongebruikte ruimten. Het slechte is dat bovengenoemde al jaren in de reviews staat, maar blijkbaar neemt het management deze niet serieus omdat klanten toch wel blijven komen. Advies: neem een goede hotel manager aan, knap de boel echt een keer op en neem feedback serieus, vernieuw je restaurant, neem een goede chef-kok aan en maak het aantrekkelijk voor gasten. Jammer want je kan hier een fantastisch resort van maken op zo’n locatie. Ondanks alles wel een prima verblijf gehad hoor, dus ga er gerust heen. "
