'Beautiful immaculate room . Well stocked tea and coffee hot chocolate decaf and herbal drinks. Good information pamphlets on local area . Lovely staff especially . Perfect breakfast . Looking forward to returning soon '

'Bedden waren goed, kamer was ruim, vond het beneden in het restaurant wat naar frituurvet ruiken. Vlak naast het hotel ligt een heel oud kerkhof wat ik erg mooi en pittoresk vond. Een graf uit 1856.!'

'Goed Hotel vlakbij de haven en winkels. Parkeren in een wat mindere garage, wat niet past bij de uitstraling van het Hotel. Liften parkeergarage werken niet.'

'Was as described. Dog friendly. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Shame they don't do vegan food but guess not many places do on the moors.'

'what do you expect from a hotel which is very cheap. we found it out and it became true. the room was not in a very good condition, not very proper and not been cleaned during the four nights we were there. dogs in another room which made a lot of noise and a strange machine outside which also made a teriible noise even till late. 'The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens'

'The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet at night and couldnt hear anything when breakfast started in the morning. Peacocks outside werent too vocal early morning so we got plenty of sleep. Staff were outstanding, friendly, polite and smiley. Breakfast was very tasty, only slight moan was portions could have been bigger but maybe thats us being greedy. We will definitely come back and stay again, we loved it'
