'We’re absolutely glad that we decided to book this VRBO. So much better than a hotel ever could’ve been. The owners was super nice. The massage and breakfast was definitely an added touch to the stay. The room was really nice. I am normally very hesitant about holiness no matter where I stay, but I had absolutely no concerns with this venue. I would absolutely recommend someone to stay at Elkins retreat.'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. 'Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the pool bunk room and the lower area king bed was so soft and felt like it gave us a hug. There is a loft area up a ladder that also had a bed, but we did not use it. We had a kuerig with coffee pods and bottled water and a microwave and small sink in the room. 'Wij hebben twee dagen Maple Creek geboekt om op adem te komen na de vlucht vanuit Nederland en als uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Houston. Kamer die wij hadden was super (honeymoon). Als uitvalsbasis voor Houston zou ik Maple creek niet meer kiezen. Afstand is vrij groot. Kom je voor je rust dan is dit verblijf prima. Persoonlijk vind ik het ontbijt mager.'
