'Had an issue with a smell coming from another room. Nothing the hotel had control over as it was coming through the bathroom vent. Housekeeping was great and brought a strong air freshener in to mask the smell. We reached out to the manager after the stay and he was wonderful and quick to respond to our issue. '

'The Abbey Resort and Spa was spectacular! The staff from the front desk, restaurants, bars, spa, activities, security and cleaning were always helpful, considerate and attentive. Their communication via text messages and email to me before I arrived and during my stay kept me well informed. They have something very special here! I'll tell all my friends about the Abbey. I'll definitely return as well. Please keep the light on for me. 😉'

'Stayed on a Monday after Easter & loved that there was no one around. The location is great and right across from the lake (even tho it was cold & windy while we were there) We just wanted to chill & the sauna was the perfect answer. There were massages on premises if you wanted. The front desk girl, I'm sad to say, I didn't get her name, but she was delightful & very helpful. She definitely helped make us feel welcome. The suites are spacious & supplies were more than we expected for our stay....

'Very clean, pool and hot tub were nice, breakfast was great with a lot of options. Having double beds instead of queen beds was a bit odd but besides that, everything was great! Location is also good with a lot to do in the area. '

'Great value. Clean, comfy beds, helpful amenities including a fridge in the room, adjoining rooms, nice variety at breakfast. Pool was a little cold but my niece loved it. Hot tub was huge. Small but very functional gym. Quick drive to lots of outdoor spaces including Lapham Peak. Walkable to tons of shops and little fast casual restaurants including ice cream and Starbucks. Easy off/on to highway and convenient to everything we were doing in Delafield and Waukesha. We have family in the area...

'This hotel was awesome. Location was great. Clean and spacious rooms. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was wonderful with hot and cold options, fresh fruit, pastries, oatmeal with lots of toppings. Amy is the breakfast lounge was a brite start to the day. She was very friendly and helpful. '

'Friendly staff all around. Construction happening in restaurant upfront. Very clean hotel minus some issues in the room’s bathroom but overall good hotel with a great location. Would stay again '

'The staff was great. The morning breakfast was delicious. The pool area was less clean than the rest of the property. It wasn’t so terrible that it prevented us from letting our kids use the pool. We would definitely stay there again. '
