As a health IT and writer, privacy and safety are my main concerns, and you get both with the "Shay" properties. This location is very convenient for shopping and outdoor activities. 'This worked well for me. The studio is attached to the owner's residence. You can arrange use of the laundry in the owner's portion of the property. You can use the owner's kitchen, since the studio has a microwave, but not a full stove/oven. Imelda is very friendly and outgoing, so just knock on the door and ask about laundry or kitchen access. 'Although our hosts were not on site, we received timely and relevant information on the check in and out process. The proximity to Lake Roberts makes this a great base camp for enjoying the outdoor beauty of Gila National Forest.'

'The check in process was easy. Barbara provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to questions. She was flexible in our check-in time. Although the property could use a few upgrades, it was very clean and equipped with most of what we needed for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.'

'We had a a wonderful time staying at Lake Roberts over Christmas! The wilderness setting and surrounding landscapes were amazing. Our room was cozy, comfortable and artfully decorated. The staff could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend. And the nighttime sky was filled with more stars than this city-dweller had ever seen!'

'This is my favorite place to stay in the Las Cruces area. I'm always happy to see it's available when I'm coming to town. The house is always spotless and well stocked. It's so peaceful out there. On this last stay I got sit in the front yard and watch the full moon come up over the Organs. I always wish I could stay longer.'
