'We stayed in the Dolphin room; a convenient and clean room with outdoor shower. When showering in the evening you can see a sky with stars. Dragonfly ranch is an unique place with a nice, even spiritual, vibe. The staff is very welcoming. For the light sleepers; the frogs are really loud. One of us used earplugs which were provided. Breakfast was tasty. Overall we would recommend this lovely place.'

'The host was easy to contact and quick to respond to questions. The location was beautiful with wonderful ocean views. We enjoyed our host who was gracious and kind. The coffee and breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend this location for your stay on Kona. Location is accessible for many excursions or dinner out that evening.'

'The Big Island Retreat is a lovely property located minutes on foot to one of the best snorkeling beaches on Big Island. We stayed in the Ocean view room which was over 2 floors. The view from the bedroom is lovely. The rooms are quite small with little storage. The bed was only a double and very high off the floor making getting into it really hard. The bathroom is not totally enclosed and has no basin as the kitchen sink is just outside. Although there was nobody staying in the rooms...

'Our host was very friendly, checked us in personally and showed us all the beach toys we could use--towels, cooler, umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, masks/snorkels. A lot of useful gear. He also suggested good snorkeling spots. The upstairs rooms had plenty of fans, was well-stocked for our stay, and we had so much room--three queen beds for just the two of us. The screened-in lanai was a cool spot for taking evening refreshments after sunset. Grocery shopping and "downtown" were just a short...

'Very nice unit with a nice view of the pool. As other people has stated parking is challenging. But I always found a place in the lot or right next to the property on the street. The bed is comfortable and I slept well. Minor issue with some small ants in the bathroom.owner was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.'
