'This gem of a little hotel is a best kept secret in Tokyo. Convenient to subways and a nice area with many restaurants. The rooms are large and comfortable. It has a separate library and a laundry room so you can freshen your clothes without spending a fortune. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We have stayed here twice now and will stay again on our next trip. '

My only complaint is the traditional blind and window was not thick enough. Would prefer black out curtains . I was woken up by the light at 6 every morning. Bring your sleeping eye mask if that’s an issue for you too. '

'Hotel is newly opened. Design and state is modern and very nice. Small inner patio garden was a nice design touch. Free bathroom amenities in lobby. Rooms were efficient organized. Beds were very comfortable. Small kitchen and fridge was a nice option. Which we did not use.

"Personnel was just amazing! The room, for Tokyo norms, was actually quite spacious. It was always spotless clean after I returned from work. I didn't have lunch or dinner here so I do not know if it is good, but twice I had the breakfast and I found that I really got excellent quality. The buffet is a mix of East and West, with many warm options such as beef ragout pasta and grilled chicken (if that is what you like) but you also find the traditional Western items there such as cheese, smoked salmon, eggs etc. The hotel was close to a railway station which I could use with my Japan rail pass. It's in a quiet and safe area and when you look out of the window you are not going to see many neon signs or those typical Tokyo neon lit streets, but you are just a very short drive removed from Shinjuku station which provides more action. You get a personal terrace which I found great. I personally had the view of the park which was amazing. Personally I appreciated the quiet surrounding, but it's a matter of preference. I did not use the common pool but they have one. I did use the gym though. It is a nice clean gym. Putting some weights there would be a nice addition for those of us who like to work with weights instead of doing cardio. All in all, I would say 9/10. Thanks a lot. "
"Welcomed by friendly staff. Everything was explained how it works at this Hotel. Very clean and shower was great in the wetroom. Plenty of towels. Bring your own coffee or tea for your first morning if you dont want to go out straight away when you wake up. 7/11 is nearby and Starbucks a few minutes walk. No lobby to sit in but they take care of your luggage after check-out out."

"New Otani Tokyo is een groot hotel, met meerdere restaurants, winkels, faciliteiten. Centraal gelegen bij uitvalswegen en meerdere metrostations. Op loopafstand meerdere restaurants en winkels. Voldoende en snelle liften aanwezig. Ruime kamers, comfortabel, goede bedden, kleine, maar efficiente badkamer (natuurlijk met 'Japans' toilet), internationale tv-kanalen goed /snel internet.
