'This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night.'

'This was a gorgeously renovated ancient residence. It was centrally located, not far from the local bus stop, and steps away from the central piazza (Temple of Minerva). The home had a loft bedroom, a washer, drying rack and fully equipped kitchen. Laura, left a large vase full of lilacs that made the place smell wonderful ! The huge wooden beams, stone floors , & walls, transport you back in time while providing modern conveniences.'

'Our nearly 2 week stay in this apartment was fantastic, the apartment was spacious and appointed wonderfully. the location was perfect and the town and people were everything we hoped for when we booked this dream trip. we explored every nook and cranny of Spoleto and cant wait to come back again. There are steps but we used them to brush up on our Italian numbers :) you would be hard pressed to find another apartment at this price that's been restored as this one... Thanks Denis and Enrico.'

'Terrein heel mooi aangelegd en goed verzorgd. Zwembad is gigantisch en heerlijk, kids hebben heerlijk gezwommen. De dieren zijn erg vermakelijk: pauwen in alle kleuren, de honden heel rustig en lief (zelfs onze dochter die honden normaal eng vindt - vond ze lief) De gastheer is zorgzaam met een flesje wijn bij ontvangst en bereidheid om alle vragen te beantwoorden.'

'Even though this house was out of the way it was comfortable, spacious and provided us with a serene space after each day of sight seeing and travel in both Umbria and Tuscany. It was just what we were looking for to accomodate our family group and we enjoyed many good times. The siting of the apartment was a plus as we were able to witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets from our eyrie.'

'We enjoyed our stay in Perugia! Apartment is well located, and quiet, and kept us warm as the temperatures dipped low (we visited in off-season) and worked great for our time there. Bathroom could use a bit of updating but everything was in working order. Furniture is a bit random but works, might be nice to not have carpets in the bedroom spaces. There is a funky gap at floor level (due to the architectural elements) in the adult bedroom that I was scared to let our toddler go near, so that’s...

'The host was easy to communicate with. The location was closed to a public parking lot. But the most outstanding thing was a lovely apartment for the unique ceilings, the cleanliness and the feeling that you were back in time in old Italy.'

'Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. 'It’s a lovely space with very friendly people. The pool is great with a breathtaking view. The view off the lake is fantastic. The apartment is specious and has good view on the Trasimeno lake. The owner Jacopo is the best. He has a lot of good ideas of the area and food. The children enjoyed the gaming room with the ping pong etc. We would really love to come here again.'
