'De kamer was ruim, maar donker. Onze kamer zat aan de kant van de doorgaande weg, wat voor veel herrie zorgde, net zoals de airco. Het zwembad was eind april nog niet gevuld. De locatie in Mariposa is prima. Bij de receptie kon gratis koffie, thee en sap gehaald worden. Het ontbijt was ook dik in orde.'

'There aren’t very many options of places to stay while you’re in Murphy’s unless you want to go into Angels Camp or Arnold, but I do think that of the options available this one is a better option. The space was quite clean, large and spacious. We had everything we needed. It is a bit outdated. It’s nice that they give you the option of donuts or a breakfast burrito in the morning, nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice. 'We needed a place for one night as hop to Death Valley. We could not have picked a nicer place. This motel is so well decorated and comfortable. It was not my taste but done so well that it didn't matter. It just embraces you like a warm cardigan. This was also because of the very friendly manager. It is a bit "out of town" but just across the street is a good place, Riverkern General Store" to have a meal, breakfast and where you can get almost everything.'

'We stayed in the "Family Suite". It had more than enough space for a family of 4. It was very quiet as it was in the back away from the main road, and underneath. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the shared patio area.'
