'The property is right on Lake Superior with a great view. Only 30 minutes from the Apostle Islands. The staff was very nice. The rooms are smaller but clean. The Mexican Restaurant right next door was very convenient. '

The pool area is small but clean; I enjoyed the hot tub. It's not far from Bayfield ferry station, which took us to Madeline Island.'

'The restaurant in lower level of the hotel is fabulous! The chef cooked my salmon perfectly. Beautiful views of the bay. Walkable to the marina. The hotel itself is absolutely beautifully and unique!'

'We had a room at first that had a VERY loud air conditioning unit that couldn’t be turned off. In the end the receptionist upgraded us to a room where the air conditioner could be turned off, so all was well.'

Internet is spotty however the point of being there is to explore the beauty of the area. They should include a better antenna for local tv/weather. Otherwise, really wonderful well appointed place.'
