'What an amazing place! Villas are in a perfect location and very clean. Beach is well maintained even though sargassum was present during our stay, they worked very hard to keep it clean. Food and drinks were top notch. Easy bike ride to village or shuttle service each hour after certain times.'

'Can't say enough good things about Alux! My friend and I visited Placencia for our Birthdays and were originally booked at other accomadations. We left the other place after one night and found Alux. What a gem! It is in the heart of the village. Everything is walkable, with lots of options for food, shopping and fun. 'We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great. And the screened in porch was really wonderful to hang out on. It's also in a great location for wandering around the village. '

'I had a delightful experience at Ocean Breeze! We were greeted with a lovely sign out front and the AC was running in our room. The front desk associate was gracious in accommodating our request for an early check in when our travel plans unexpectedly changed. The room was meticulously, cleaned and appointed well with coffee cups and plates. Our room looked out toward the ocean and the pool was directly below. 'The location was incredible and the staff were friendly and incredibly accomodating. A chair in my room needed to be replaced and the TV was not fully installed yet, but neither of those things detracted from the experience in any meaningful way. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Placencia.'

'This is a beautiful, clean property very close to the sidewalk in Placencia. The hosts were GREAT, check in was a breeze and the AC was cold!! They have a small but deep pool on top of it all!! I highly recommend Driftwood Gardens and will definitely stay again. '
