'A really good place to stay, you don’t need to go anywhere else there is plenty to do and see around there.

'We’ve stayed at Spicers Guesthouse several times, and it has become a favourite for accommodation in Pokolbin. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, ie they are able to help with most queries without having to consult with supervisors or managers. The rooms are clean, spacious enough, and well appointed.'

The only 2 baby flaws I had was that there was some rubbish by the spa on our first day and it was still there the following morning (it had just blown down a bit). It was only like a wrapper or something plastic but rubbish in general grosses me out. The other was that the big outdoor fireplace wasn’t put on and we...

'Lovely welcoming staff even though we were clearly well above the age of their average guest. We had been prewarned that it may be noisy as the hotel is in the middle of the nightlife area and when we checked in they told us there was a big event with djs in the bar. Indeed our room was very noisy in the early evening but when we got back from dinner, at exactly 21.30, all of a sudden the music stopped and you could hear a pin drop it was so quiet. Very nicely arranged. Nice shower. Good...
