The location is great, the rooms are fantastic, the personel is super friendly&we loved the spa even though at this point it is only indoor since they are repairing the outdoor spa because of storm damage last year. As well great breakfast, really nice diner and a stunningly cute village!'

'Eric at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
The jacuzzi and sauna are a good addition. It has a cost but worth it after long hours of driving.
I would recommend the place. Basic room, no tea or coffee in the room which would have been nice. There is a kettle though. Just plan ahead. Overall a good experience.'

'We had a nice stay with a very helpfull guestlady and owner who helped us out a lot when we were unfortunate enough to encounter a flat tire. The surroundings of this hotel are beautiful with the mountains and fjord to look over. Breakfast was nice with local icelandic bread.'

'It's in the middle of nowhere and the host is so nice! We had some nice chats and he shares a recipe, he was very interessed and give us some tips. It was very clean and lucky us, there were no other guest, so we had the living room for ourselves. We slept very good. Definitely recommend this if you're doing a roundtrip. '

'The hostel is good. The rooms are equipped with the essentials and are mostly clean. The common areas could have been cleaner though. The kitchen is not so well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helped immediately with any problems. I would recommend the hostel for a short stay.'

'Die hostelzimmer im 1.OG inklusive Waschräume sind gruselig… ich konnte dort leider keine Nacht verbringen, das Bettlaken war fleckig, an den Fenstern saßen Fliegen, die Waschräume dunkel und schmutzig…
Aus Höflichkeit bekam ich dann eines der freien Hotelzimmer. Das Personal ist großartig und hat immer eine Lösung parat, ihnen ist die Zufriedenheit der Gäste sehr wichtig!!
