'I figured it’d be noisy being on the highway, but that’s ok, the motorcycles going by were obnoxious — but you’re on a highway! the check in was great— the guy working was friendly and efficient and confirmed we had the right idea for dinner— even gave us menu hints!! We loved the fact we were placed opposite the highway 20, so that DID help with the noise— the AC worked really well (in a hot spell right now) and the shower was hot and strong— we even asked for extra towels so we could shower...

'This is a great place to stay. I had six nights here staying in one of the walled tents. It was lovely and quiet. It's close to town and close to the ferry. I had a hire car but cycling would be manageable from here. It's on Fisherman's Bay Road which is a good road for cyclists and drivers here are very courteous. The amenities are really clean. Loved the hot water bottles - kept me toasty and warm!'

'A simple night in a cozy tent at a farm that was sweet and peaceful. Nice to have the wagon to haul gear and a cooler down the path and super comfy bed…wow! '

'We stayed in the original hotel and loved the room and veranda view of the marina. We didnt seem to have AC in our room and the street lights were distracting at night. The food at the Madrona Cafe was superb. '

'Great location, nice place for the price. The only thing was that the white bathroom sink had black & brown spots. I don’t know if it was flawed or dirty but it was not nice to look in the sink.'

'Great location! Walking distance to restaurants and shops and east to get to other parts of the island from this spot. The suite we stayed in was dated but we didn’t mind. It was the perfect size for two remote workers. We snuck a peek at the room across the hall which was updated with vinyl plank flooring etc so it looks like they are slowly working on updating all of the rooms. '

'Onze kamer was luidruchtig wegens een buitenlamp die aan het zoemen was. Het personeel was zo vriendelijk ons een andere kamer te geven. De kamers waren heel klein, je kon niet leunen tegen de bedrand om nr tv te kijken. De tv's waren geen flatsceens. Maar de kamers waren wel netjes. Op loopafstand van het centrum.'

'This place is cute and quaint, and the location is perfect - walkable to everything in the main "village" area. The rooms are unique (I peaked inside a few) and homey, and there are many lovely common areas such as outdoor seating and a wraparound porch. It was calm and quiet despite being fully booked, and when we did run into other guests it felt like we were all friends staying together. '
