'Amazing hotel for skiing in Zermatt. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and with lots of options. The hotel is close to the train station as well as the Gornergrat train. The best part of the hotel is the spa area with sauna, steamroom, onsen, pools etc. Just perfect for relaxing after skiing!'

Many added perks to staying here from breakfast which is included with your stay, to the spa and tea time offerings daily. The rooms were sound proof, spacious and cozy. 'Halverwege het treinstation en de liften naar de Kleine Matterhorn ligt dit kleinschalige familiehotel, net buiten de drukke winkelstraat van Zermatt. De inrichting van de kamer, hoewel wat gedateerd, was prima in orde; goed bed en dito bad/douche en onze kamer had een klein balkon. Ook het ontbijt was prima verzorgd, met allerlei soorten brood, hartig en zoet beleg, yoghurt, muesli, fruit, diverse dranken en ei a la minute op verzoek gemaakt. 'Ik had een eenpersoonskamer, budget Je weet dat je dan een kamer met mindere kwaliteit krijgt. Maar deze kamer had een schuin aflopend plafond waardoor in het grootste gedeelte het plafond liep van ongeveer 180 cm tot ongeveer 1 meter. Alleen bij het bed dat in een nis stond was het hoger dan 185, daar kon ik staan met mijn 183. Voor de rest moest je alles gebukt doen, ook lopend naar de badkamer. Voor kleine mensen misschien wel geschikt, maar boven de 170 cm niet te doen. De badkamer zelf was...

'This beautiful hotel is so walkable to all the transportation up into the mountains, tons of restaurant options, and shopping. It seems to be family run, and the service was exemplary. They went out their way to do simple extras like holding the door open for us when we had luggage. The free breakfast was fantastic, offering a large variety. Our balcony view of the Matterhorn was beautiful! We could also see the goats (and hear their bells) as they were paraded through town - so fun!'
