'No A/C. If you plan to spend time in the apartment during the day, be prepared it's extremely loud outside up until about midnight even on weekdays. There are no curtains to get a breeze and reduce light at night. Otherwise location is very good for walking around Alfama and getting to other parts of the city. Also add about 15-20 mins to your ride from the airport due to tight streets and traffic.'

'The property matched its marketing description and was ideal for our purposes.
The location was excellent being in the heart of the Alfama district on the road up to the Castle.
A couple of minor points to note:
Clients should be made aware of the steep stairs within the building to access the apartment. Also, the lower part of the entrance hallway is quite dark - lighting could usefully be improved there.'
