12. Taynuilt Inn Apartments
Taynuilt Inn ApartmentsTaynuilt
9.2 van 10, Fantastisch, (36 beoordelingen)
'Newly renovated and spacious, however this apartment fell far short of its advertised 'luxury'. The unit sits directly beside the noisy A85 trunk road road, there is double glazing but soundproofing is still very poor, as there is constant traffic noise and you can quite clearly hear outside conversations with all windows firmly shut. This means windows can’t really be opened for very long and temperate more difficult to control. The Expedia listing promised an on-site EV charger, which was...

'The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend.

'Such a unique place to stay, and exactly what I wanted. It’s built on stilts into the side of a hill, just above a fabulous Inn. Walking distance (400m ish) from Lochawe train station. It’s not a hotel, so for the nightly cost if you want a hotel this isn’t it. But the view and location if you want to be at peace, in nature with the most incredible views and backdrop, this is it.
Very comfortable beds, quiet, fantastic warm shower. Everything we needed (and I’d packed things expecting it to be...

'Clean and fresh room. It was not a big room though, so for the 3 of us not that much space. Also, it was old fashioned. That doesn't matter of course, but an old mattress doesn't sleep to well. We found it to be 'bumpy'.
Area is fine, supermarket and restaurants at walking distance, as well as ferry and train station.
