'This hostel was really nice, from the reception to the room to the breakfast , all very nice. I stayed for 5 nights , the first couple nights I stayed in the deluxe room and the last 3 in a standard double. I had planned on hotel hopping around the island but Gili Buana was so relaxed I was happy to stay put. As A solo traveler I felt very welcome. Aisje the manager was an amazing hostess, she invited me for sunset and dinner a couple nights which was lovely. I highly recommend this hostel. '

'Het communiceren met het personeel was even wennen vanwege de taalbarrière maar de manager waarmee ik vooraf heb gemaild is buitengewoon hulpvaardig en vriendelijk; echt een topper!!! Hierdoor fantastische tips voor uitstapjes ! Heel mooie accomodatie zeer mooie badkamer ook , een aanrader!! Wel herrie van de moskee maar daar kom je op Gili niet onderuit.'

'Hotel was fine given the price. Good room with airconditioner, bathroom is spacious but smells a bit funky at times (smell comes from the drain) Staff was very helpfull and so kind, they were great. Only downside (which is not to blame on the hotel) were the broadcasted prayers of the mosques of which the first one is at 5 in the morning and lasts about half an hour. The island is pretty small so I think you hear them allmost everywhere. Also the chickens and roosters on the island are pretty...

'Het is er smerig, het stinkt, slecht bed, waardeloze douche, zwak internet. Was de goedkoopste die wij op Gilli konden vinden, maar nog steeds veelte duur voor wat je krijgt. Gilli trawangan is ook niet de moeite waard, 2 dagen waren ook meer dan genoeg.'
