'The property was in great condition and located conveniently right across the street from the beach. But the staff were the greatest asset. 'The room is one of the better ones among hotels this price- good size, nice living room/kitchen, and separated bathroom/sinks. More homelike than other hotel rooms. One of the mornings, breakfast was outstanding (bacon, potatoes, egg omlets) along with waffles. Overall, everything was a moderate cut above other 3/4 star hotels. And the shuttle was very helpful. Closeness to the beach didn’t hurt either. Very satisfied. '

'We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!'
