'We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip.'

'I am super impressed with how easy check in was, received an email with specific details. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was extra nice that our breakfast was in the room, especially because we wake up earlier than most guest. If we ever return to Volcano, we will absolutely be staying here again. Lots of restaurant options very close, the national park is extremely close too. Overall the perfect stay for my family. '

'Jon was an excellent host. Property is 200 yards from a lightly traveled riad so very quiet. Surrounded by tropical forest only 1 mile from entrance to volcanoes national park and 25 minutes from Hilo. 'If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. '
