'The Bali Temple was an absolute dream to stay in! We loved how it was so far away from the bigger cities and how quiet and relaxing it was. We walked the lava run every day to see the ocean- it is exactly as advertised! The host was lovely and responsive. The only thing I wish we’d known ahead of time is that there is no stove or oven but there is a hot plate! Prepare your meals accordingly! Otherwise it was absolutely perfect and we had the best time. '

'I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. Various places to eat or get groceries that are within a 10 min walk or a couple of mins drive. Maggie was an exceptional host, very quick to respond and very kind to me on my arrival after a 25h trip. 'Our stay at the Fern Studio was excellent. The hosts, Elaine and Carter, were so incredibly kind and very communicative. Providing instructions early prior to our arrival and gave us lots of tips while we were there. Especially for the National Park next door.'
