'We stayed here for almost two weeks. Kelly was amazing. She was always whipping up different types of breakfasts. She was so cute and so talkative. Her food was really good. (If you are like me however, ask for pancakes or french toast or crepes) she loves to cook Mexican style breakfast but it didn’t always sit right with me. Then I told her about and she said, “well you should have told me earlier!” We both laughed. And it was excellent there after. Her place is very cozy and calm. I loved...

'The staff was so friendly. There were lots of animals: peacocks, cats, frogs, geese. We loved it! We booked it to be closer to Volcanoes National Park, without realizing there was no road that cuts across. We had to go amidst to Hilo in order to go back down to the Volcanoes, so it wasn't the most convenient, but we loved the vibe!'

'Chris was my host and he has a nice comfortable place. It was like hanging out with a friend. Everything was clean and the house rules were explained and easily understood. Very economical.'

'Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. The central location on the island allows for east access to everywhere. We will definitely be talking about/recommending the volcano mist cottage to others. '
