'Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. '

'Lemon Tree Lanai is an excellent place for vacationers who want a real Hawai'i rain forest experience without a lot of hype and "club-med" type extras. It's a bit rustic, but clean, with beautiful flowery grounds. comfortable and convenient. The lucky geckos are a plus, visiting every evening to take care of any bugs on the lanai that might have slipped in the screen. In fact, if we had to plan our big island trip all over again, we would have extended our stay at this beautiful gem tucked away in the jungle. How cool to be able to go from the front porch on a walk through steam vents, with information along the way about local flowers and plants.
