However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. 'A really cool place. Sharon and Stephen were wonderful hosts (this is a small ‘condo’ downstairs on their property). Very comfortable, parking is doorside w a private entrance. Beautifully landscaped yard. Kitchen is well stocked w/ utensils and basic seasonings/condiments for cooking. Walk-in shower and adjacent outdoor shower. 'We arrived in Hawaii only to find our booking had gone out of business and forgot to remove their VRBO ad. But we found Paradise Palms available at the last minute. Sharon and Steve worked with us and VRBO to help us straighten everything out. And we spent 3 days in the area and it was beautiful. Every day was a new adventure. '

'Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. '

'If you don’t mind living off grid. Then this would be a good fit for you. It’s way way out in the jungle so it’s not as convenient as some people may like. You are in nature, which is wonderful. It is definitely not a 4G network. It’s T-Mobile and the Internet is sporadic.'
