'Beautiful, clean, modern property close to down town. Easy to walk to where you wanted to go. Parking is available; however, you pay for it like everywhere downtown. The valet service is awesome though. My only other thing I didn’t care for was the view of the roof we had from our room, but not much can be done about that. We got the short stick I guess. 'Loved our stay at Longfellow. The amenities were great (highly recommend the spa!) and town car was an added perk we took advantage of. The drinks at the bar were some of the best we had in Portland. We loved the sustainability aspect of the rooms and found the bed to be very comfy. All communication is done via text and we found the responsiveness to be spotty (anywhere from 5 min to the following day). Other than that, we had an excellent stay and will definitely be returning.'

'The absolute star if the show here is the inn owner Kathy! She is very knowledgeable about the area and even pointed out a great yarn shop down the road as she knew I was a knitter. The breakfasts were all unique, delicious and cooked to order each day with lots of fresh herbs. The communal areas were relaxing and practical with fridge, soft drinks, coffee/tea, ice and seemingly anything else you might need available 24/7. We were very anxious about being late for check-in by about 20 minutes,...

'Our honeymoon spot - This property was excellent. Don't be afraid of the back stairs and think you were fooled, when you open the doors to the bedroom you get it. Wonderfully furnished, the most comfortable bed you can find, a limitless supply of fluffy towels, and champagne and cheese as a welcoming gift. 5 different live flower arrangements and just the perfect things to give it an extra touch.
