'Hotel is ok in general, location is great, restaurant is good, terras is super. Check-in went fast but totally wrong. Suddenly there were other guests in my room, double booked. Then my room card was not working anymore. Booked 3 rooms, all 3 rooms overcharged by 100usd. At the end they fixed all the issues but had to go to reception multiple times. Elevators are a hell, sometimes you have to wait up to 10 minutes to get an elevator. The staff is very nice and helpfull but some finetuning is...

'The Fairmount is an interesting place. The old building has been nicely renovated, the rooms are comfortable and the staff is attentive. The layout is odd, with no real reception or lobby area to speak of. The location is great, close to the River Walk, but construction was going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, making access complicated. They had valet set up which was helpful. The rooftop bar and on site restaurant are great amenities. '
