'We have been coming here for almost twenty years. The property could use a little tlc, but it also has a lot of charm. Pablo at the front desk was the best attendant we have ever had. He really made the experience better. Our AC was not working but within minutes an engineer came up and was able to fix it no problem. Room was very clean with lots of towels. 'The room was wonderful. SO spacious and well-appointed, extremely clean. Loved the excellent bedding, the soaking tub, the perfect water pressure in the shower. We did not expect the flat-screen TV, so it was a treat to have. Don't let the lack of restaurant bother you: There are plenty of great choices around, though you have a bit of a drive. For a leisurely romantic weekend, I can't think of a better place. '

'Best part: Breakfast and the views.
Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect.
