'Very clean and comfortable room although describing it as luxury is maybe a step too far! Breakfast and indeed all the food was excellent and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It is a quiet location about a mile from the village so you probably need to drive. Would definitely stay here again.'

'Perfect place in a quiet street but very close to Union Street with bus stops. Lovely rooms with grat beds. Very friendly and helpfull staff and an excellent kitchen, great food and drinks. Lovely pub and dinner area, great breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again for a next viit to Aberdeen.'

'Room looks nice, very clean and comfy bed. But terrible noice. You can expect a lot of noice from the two bars down the street, but even worse was the sound of a compressor or washing machine that penetrated the room. That stopped 11:30 pm but only to start again at 7 am. Also a van airconditioning kept on working through out the night and made a lot of noice. When telling staff in the morning they couldn't be bothered with it. Staff in afternoon were nice, but at breakfast were uninterested...

'Booked this for one of my employees who was working in the area. When he arrived he was shown to a room in the roofspace that had to duck all the time due to the amount the roof came into the room. Booked a room with a private bathroom but he was shown a bathroom along a public corridor, not exactly private! Then the bar was noisy until about 0130 when he was trying to sleep as he was up early in the morning. Needless to say he wasn't very happy!'

'We stayed here for 1 night on a Sunday. Absolutey 5 stars!! Service is quite simply outstanding and the innkeepers went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The decor is stunning. We had a room at the back which we absolutely loved - huge bathroom!! The whisky snug, the hallway, the restaurant are all gorgeous and immaculate. Don't hesitate, just book it!! '
