'We stayed for one night. It was a little warm in the room, but we discovered a fan in the cupboard. Generally a comfortable stay in a good location to get to a show at Theatre Severn. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. Parking was an essential and at £5 per night was reasonable. We hear the hotel is changing hands soon. I hope the standards are kept high.'

'Perfectly clean and functional. Useful when visiting my university student son living in Selly Oak. Didn't partake of breakfast but Morrisons and Aldi nearby.'

'Nice seeminly recently updated restaurant. Beds a not super comfy and missing a light at the headboard of the bed for reading. 10 minute walk to Underground, lot of take out / oriental easy dining places nearby. Good for solo travelling but i do not think i Will be visiting this again.'

'Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

'A basic hotel with simple rooms. The fourth bed in our room was noticeably shorter, so my 13-year-old child didn’t quite fit. That said, the restaurant was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. And although the rooms were quite basic, they still met all our needs.'
