'We attended a 3-day event at the Michigan International Speedway and after a long, busy (loud) day we were giddy to retire to this soft, quiet place and renew. The house is beautifully appointed, relaxing, spacious and the view from the back deck over the lake melts away any stress from the day. Melinda is a wonderful host - thank you for everything!'

Welcomed surprise with snacks available in fridge/freezer upon our arrival (great as our flight arrived late and we did not have time for dinner)! Property lacked coffee pot (Keurig was available, but our family drinks A LOT of coffee) and grill needed to be replaced. Host very responsive when we needed dishwasher detergent and tissues.'

'Good little place to stay. We didn’t get much time to do much on the property as we were there for a family loss, but if we had time, it was very spacious. Nice views of the lake. The home is a little out dated, but it’s a little town so it wasn’t something unexpected. Showers are smaller than usual, but manageable. Overall good little getaway for affordable price.'

'Wonderful lakefront house nestled in Irish Hills area. Very secluded and host is extremely accommodating. Great for families as there is an orchard nearby with fun things to do with kids of all ages. The house is very modern and clean. Our family did a weekend trip to celebrate our oldest daughters birthday. We were here in peak fall color and thoroughly enjoyed the colors and serenity.'

'Check in was easy, the house was as shown, and then some. I will say, if you are traveling with small children, this may not be the property for you. Several power tools were accessible both upstairs and downstairs. As a mother this made me a little uncomfortable.'

'My family and I (including fur babies) came to stay for a family wedding and we absolutely loved it!! It is so hard to find a place that accepts dogs nevertheless offer a fence for them! The dogs loved it as well. The view is priceless! Also, we were so impressed on the items that were offered. It makes you feel like you are at home when you aren't.
