'Surprised my husband with a weekend get away with mother-in-law, Daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, and family pet (Otis, Great Dane)…met son, daughter-in-law, grandson in Jim Thorpe for a train ride Saturday. 'Property was great and the nature around us was amazing. The mile walk we did from the house was amazing as we saw a fox and multiple deer and spots to view the beautiful creek. Super relaxing. We had cooler weather in the front end of the stay and 80s by the time we left. Fire place would have been great for the cooler times but we couldn’t get it to light but that might have been us since we aren’t used to propane. Decor was amazing and house was very clean.
