'We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. 'Het was heel fijn en er waren voldoende spullen aanwezig. Het was alleen wat ver van de supermarkt, andere winkels en van een pub of restaurant. Ook was het niet duidelijk dat we van de eigenaresse nog een nota kregen voor de electriciteit.'

Dat ligt op ongeveer 40 minuten rijden over de Ring of Kerry in zuidelijke richting. 18 holes € 30 pp. Clubs huren voor € 20 per set. Hogs Head € 250 pp. Prijs huren golfset hebben we maar niet meer gevraagd. De boottocht vanaf Portmagee naar de Skelligs is zeer de moeite waard.'

'We had a very nice stay. The view is truly asthonishing amd different in every type of weather. The contact went well and Mary responded quickly and helpfully to every question. The cottage is in a very beautiful spot and very quiet. On arrival the fireplace was ready to light. There is sufficient wood in stock.'
