'My friend and I (both in our 70's) were so excited about our stay at the Shoe House, and it did not disappoint! We loved the game room, complete with a kitchenette. It was as fun and quirky as you might expect. It's a little pricey, but it is an historical site and something you won't find anywhere else. Totally worth it! the Shoe House!'

'The use of recycled wood on the interior makes this place gorgeous on the inside. The location can’t be beat. I can’t give this a high rating because this is not for most Sr citizens or people that are physically challenged. You have to climb up a ladder to go to bed. This was not clear in the photos of the property. My wife ended up on a couch. Had they been more transparent about the layout, I probably would’ve stayed elsewhere.'
