'We enjoyed our stay very much. The master bed was softer that my preference and a bit of a squeaky thing. So be aware. The security lights are nice at night, but they tend to light up the bedroom while we were trying to sleep and forget about trying to sleep in for a few as once the sun is up the room is as bright as daytime. And the BBQ pit under the shaded pavilion has seen better day (though still usable) some may want to bring their own, none of which takes away from how happy we were with...

'While the host was responsive, he was unwilling to discuss options when I asked about changing the weekend due to the winter storm that was set to hit the entire state the weekend of our stay. He tried to say that south Texas never gets freezing weather and when I explained that the larger concern would be getting home, he dismissed that in contradiction to the National Weather Service. Because this was a duck hunting trip for the men and because the host said we would only have the cleaning fee...

'The pool is a good size for small kids, its not that big. The house was nice, but was not the cleanness. It did have alot of dust, the bottom rooms did have mold on the ceilings. Overall the area is nice, and we still had a great time, the canal was a plus for fishing. The bbq pit shown on the picture is different, its just a regular bbq pit. Lots of beds for a big family. '
