'The hotel was very well located. You could walk to the departure station of the free shuttle to the Manitou Incline and the Pikes Peak terminal. It was also very quiet so I slept very well. The room had everything you needed. The continental breakfast was pretty ok, with boiled eggs and a waffle maker.'

De parkeerruimte voor de kamers is niet toereikend als er een paar buren met oversized vehicles aankomen. Zij moesten in feite op een andere parking gaan staan, maar blijkbaar kunnen deze mensen niet goed lezen.
Jammer dat we door regenweer geen gebruik konden maken van het zwembad, want het zag er wel leuk uit. '

'What a unique and tranquil place! We stayed in Big Horn Lodge. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. The breakfast buffet was outstanding in both variety and quality of offerings. The grounds are breathtaking and the castle…wow! Beautifully maintained overall and unlike any other venue we have stayed at. I would absolutely return again. '

'Beautiful scenery with the red rocks from Garden of the Gods overflowing onto the property. Stayed in Cedar Lodge which is older but nice. Room was large. No TV in the room, which I was good with! Breakfast was awesome! Eggs, potatoes, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and more. Lovely stay. Great location if exploring Colorado Springs.'

Dan geen nieuwe koffie, geen schone handdoeken of geen toiletpapier. Ook bij zwembad geen handdoeken, daar moest je dan eerst weer naar vragen.
Je mag van een Marriott echt wel meer verwachten!'

"It’s a beautiful location with one of a kind views. Large and nicely appointed rooms. A/C/heater, fridge and several power outlets did not work. Even after informing the front-desk, these issues were not taken care of. Staff and front-desk manager seem not to care.
Because of the great location we nevertheless extended our stay by one night and were told to come back later in the afternoon as we would move to the room above. We were totally fine with this. Upon checking in in the afternoon, front-desk informed us that nok room was available, except for a suite that would be way more expensive. When being overbooked, you expect a hotel to offer the suite at the same rate as the originally booked room. This did not happen, even not after talking to the front-office manager. It’s such a shame for such a beautiful property.
If you charge the rates of a 5 star, 5 diamond hotel, then you should also deliver this service standard.
With more care, better trained and professional employees and by going above and beyond this can be a great place, but based on our experience we will never come back.
